Mike Lachance, MPTMike Lachance, MPT of Lewiston Maine, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from the University of Maine in Farmington in 1995 and went on to graduate school to study Physical Therapy at Elon University in North Carolina graduating in 2000. For ten years Mike has been providing Physical Therapy services in an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine environment with additional experience work with the geriatric population in a skilled nursing facility.

His previous experience in the fitness industry and appreciation for patient education provide for a motivating and learning atmosphere ensuring maximum results. The importance of team work between the clinician and patient is emphasized at Proactive. From the post operative patient, high school athlete, injured worker, weekend warrior or those who suffer from chronic conditions or general aches and pains, Proactive will individualize a program to meet your needs.. Mike’s area of specialty include treatment of spinal disorders utilizing the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and treatment, correction of muscle imbalances to improve biomechanics, neuromuscular retraining for improved balance and walking stability, dynamic core strengthening and sports performance.
